Denisse Aranda

Founder and Executive Director


After receiving a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University and a Masters in Material Science and Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Denisse went to work at the NASA Langley Research Center, utilizing her expertise in material science to contribute to projects designed to control contamination and improve the efficiency of objects in space. Denisse also served as Integration and Test Lead for the RaD-X flight project, which provides data that improves safety for the general public, commercial flight crews, and others working in the high atmosphere and in outer space.

When not teaching, engineering, and coming up with great ideas for Science Camp, Denisse will often be found teaching dance, one of her greatest passions. Denisse currently teaches Zumba at the Y and leads her school's dance team.

Kevin LaMott

Founder and President

Kevin was raised in Miami where he attended DASH (Design and Architecture Senior High) where he began his passion in 3D-Arts. Through out his time earning his Engineering Degrees from FIU and Cornell, Kevin dabbeled in 3D arts fortified by digital design. As he became more proficient with 3D printing, he sought a challenging application which led a multi month, passion fueled Design sprint which lead to the printing of his first case.


A portion of all sales support Science Camps of America. A Hawaii based non-profit that provides opportunities for teens to immerse themselves in hands-on science education.
